Janne Granberg was born august 28, 1962 in Stockholm, Sweden and raised in a village called Tungelsta south of Stockholm. He moved to the California, US in 1994 to work in Silicon Valley for Tandem Computers. He died in a plane crash october 1st, 2000.

Janne lived his last years in Santa Cruz, California where he had a relationship with Allison Cruz. Throughout his life he had many dear friends and was considered a bright, loving and sensitive person with a great sense of humor. He was also a huge source of inspiration for many people and was engaged in a lot of activities including ultimate frisbee, surfing, photography, skiing, hiking, etc and he loved the Burning Man festivals.

Janne was one of those that should never have died so young.
